The Glass Troll Cave is one in a series of Jon Rafman's video viewing structures that plays with the relationship of viewer as spectacle. In this installation structure, the materials of glass, clear plastic upholstery and raw steel are employed to enhance transparency and exposure of the viewer.

APD assisted the artist, Jon Rafman, in two stages of design and production. They include concept design, 3D modelling and AutoCAD drawings for exhibition. And the art fabrication of the completed structure; with customized steel work, glass fabrication, and upholstery production.

The 'Glass Troll Cave' was first exhibited in 2015 at the Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal. In 2018, the installation has become a permanent work in the museum's collection on exhibit.
