Canada Pavilion, 60th International Art Exhibition -- La Biennale di Venezia, 2024

Trinket (2024) is a large-scale installation commissioned for the Canadian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale. The work fills the pavilion with cascading curtains made from millions of Murano glass beads, which drape across interior and exterior spaces. Using light, color, and movement, the installation transforms the architecture into a shimmering environment that references histories of trade, material exchange, and cultural connection.

APD assisted the artist with the fabrication and installation of the work.
